F.A.Q.s

Q. How do we know we can trust Nile?

A. This is a tough question, but at some point, you are going to have to trust me to do business with me. I am a real person that has resided in PA for 22 years. I represent myself and will be here to help with any question, comments or problems you may have. I’m always up to date with information in my newsletters and online profiles. You can review my Community Facebook Page which is open to allow anyone to befriend me, post comments about their experience with me or to review my artwork. I appreciate the support and any interest one may have in my art so I try to stay accurate and maintain your trust.

Q. What happens if I do have a problem with Nile?

A. First, let me know. I work hard to make sure supporters of the business of my art remain comfortable, but I work harder if they ever experience a problem. I am committed to my customer’s complete satisfaction. I occasionally make mistakes as I live and learn. If there has been a problem- in shipping, in framing, or if it is just not the image you thought it was- I will take care of it in the best manner I can. You can tell me how you want the problem solved- reframing, different matts, or even a full refund and I’ll work with you. No questions asked and at your discretion. This policy is in effect for the first ten days of your purchase- plenty of time, I feel, for you to notice if there are any problems. I guarantee the authenticity of all my art work. I can repair/replace biodegradable art for up to a ten day warranty after purchase. I stand behind all my art, images and everything that I am in control of. My family and I will always maintain copyright ownership of images of the original work of art even after it’s been purchased or under new possession. Although some publicity is not in our control, the people Subscribed to my mailing list will still receive newsletter notification about any of my works of art featured in the media even after the original is no longer in my control. Copy right policies and more are outlined on the Privacy and Security Policy page.

Q. Can I receive any free products from Nile?

A. Yes occasionally there are prized giveaways, competitions, proposals, or I’m looking to hire someone for help on a project. The best way to find out is either to Contact Me with questions or suggestions. Or to sign up to receive Newsletter Updates.

Q. Tell me about framing, handling and gift-wrap options?

A. I generally use metal frames from Metroframes.com to frame the art works featured in my shop before shipping it out. The cut size, and finish (which ranges from silver, frosted silver, gold, german silver, matt black, bright white and anodic black), matting, acrylic plexiglas, and foam board range in prices depending on the thickness and size of the work of art. Framing plus packing and handling are covered in the price of the art work. After I’ve received your order I will contact you to find out what color finish you would prefer on your work of art. If none is specified anodic black is my standard color. I gift wrap if requested, for an extra charge of $5.98. The standard gift wrap is a high quality red colored wrapping paper unless you wish otherwise. The packing materials, box, styrofoam, tape, bubble wrap, cardboard etc… is covered in the price of the art work. If you wish to have a work of art that is not framed then I will discount your final price. E-mail me to request an estimate of an unframed price for a specific work of art.

Q. What about Shipping?

A. 7 day shipping is the most inexpensive option and it will be mailed as soon as final payment has been received through my paypal account which usually takes 5 business days for most bank accounts to transfer the money. These 5 days before the package is shipped out also allows me to confirm specifications about your order, frame it, and gift wrap it if requested. The cost to send the package will be 13.03 plus 2.75 to insure it for over $200 plus 0.80 cents for delivery confirmation so that you are able to track the package by logging in online to see where it is in the U.S. the package is as it’s on its way to your final destination. Shipping totals in 16.58 for anywhere in the U.S for large objects. Smaller objects cost 8.29 which is half the price.. If you would like it sooner please let me know. Express delivery is over 100$ for overnight. There are other options I can tell you about depending on how much sooner you would like to receive the work of art. Pick up is an option. If requested customers won’t be charged for shipping and I’ll provide an address to meet either in the University of Penn neighborhood of West Philadelphia or at an office in down town Philadelphia.

Q. How can I pay?

A. Contacting Me first. If interested I can lay away a work of art and draw up a contract for a personal payment plan allowing one to pay in installments divided over the course of up to 6 months or sooner without penalties or interests charged during this time. Once payment plans have started the buyer is committed to the agreement and must pay on time. Electronic receipts and proof of payments are provided via e-mail. This is non refundable until the final payment has been made. Once all payment has been received the art work will be shipped out. Once you have received the work of art then you have up to 10 days to return it. If after 7 months has passed and the art work has not received full payment then it will be placed back onto the market and resold. Your payments will then be transferred into store credit for purchasing another work of art listed on my website’s PayPal website. They allow me to process and fulfill your order and to notify you of your order status. Please review their Privacy Policy. Although I do not personally share your information; all information is still between you, me, and any third parties we may use to communicate such as paypal, gmail, your e-mail account provider or phone line, the U.S. post office, etc. Please read Gmail’s Privacy Notice for more details about my e-mail’s privacy policy.

Q. Request larger files or copy right information

A. Contact me with the name or description of the work of art and how you would like to use it. I’ll e-mail you back a larger file size with better resolution if requested. Copies of my digital portfolio can be mailed as well. Everyone on my mailing list receives newsletter updates about publications featuring my art.
